Ms. Linda D. Harper, 61, of Hopewell, Va., departed this life on Saturday, May 28, 2014.

Survived by a loving son, Harvey Harper Jr. (N'Kelle) of San Antonio; devoted daughter, Sarena Harper, Virginia Beach; a granddaughter, Niyah Harper; eight brothers and sisters, Angeline "Hortense" Mullins of Nashville, Tenn., Robert Mullins (Victoria) of Chicago, Charles Mullins of Ramstein, Rheinland-Pfatz, Germany, Clarence Mullins (Phyllis) of Indianapolis, Jacques Mullins (Terri) of Farmington, Mich., Lori Sharpe of Nashville, Tenn., Charleen "Tiny" Ross (Frederick Jr.) of Stockbridge, Ga., Dorthea "Dee" White (Ralph Jr.) of Stone Mountain, Ga.; aunts, Thelma Watkins and Mary Payne; uncle, Kenneth Smith (Amanda); 12 nieces and nephews; six great-nieces and nephews; dear friends, Hortense Jones, Deacon David Brown, Mary Spratley and Mary Johnson; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

Celebration of life service will be held noon Saturday, June 7, 2014, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Prince George; the Rev. F. Lamont Gooding, pastor, officiating.
