Lorraine Foster Obituary

Lorraine Flowers Foster, 77, widow of William N. Foster, died Dec. 24, 2009.

She was born in Alberta, Va., a daughter of the late Henry Lee and Evie Flowers. Lorraine was a member of Swift Creek Baptist Church and a devoted homemaker.

She is survived by her daughter, Tracey F. Williamson and husband Robert of Summerfield, N.C.; two sisters, Louise Bryant of Norfolk and Joyce Rabil of Franklin; two brothers, James Flowers of Drewryville and Ralph Flowers of Sedley. She is also survived by her two grandchildren Catherine and Kellen Williamson who were very special to her.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2009 at Swift Creek Baptist Church in Colonial Heights, Va. Dr. Steve Felker will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Swift Creek Baptist Church, 18510 Branders Bridge Rd., Colonial Heights, VA 23834.

The family would like to thank Dr. Laura F. Defina of the Cooper Clinic in Dallas, Texas, and Dr. Justin Campbell and the nurses at WFU/Baptist Medical Center for the care she received.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at a most difficult time of loosing your mother who was very close to you and your children. She will be surely missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
