Margaret Cabaniss Obituary

Margaret Rowland Cabaniss, 82, of Dinwiddie County passed away Sunday, Dec. 20, 2009. She was the daughter of the late Leland B. and Laura Davis Rowland.

She is survived by her husband, John Cabaniss; one son, John Cabaniss Jr. and wife, Patsy; two daughters, Linda Esquibel and Darlene Wehren and husband, Fred; three sisters, Rebecca Wilkerson, Barbara Thomason and Mary Watson; four brothers, Leland Rowland Jr., Frank Rowland, John Rowland and Larry Rowland; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2009, at Western Heights Baptist Church with an entombment to follow in Southlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. tonight at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Western Heights Baptist Church/Lottie Moon Fund, 24416 Cox Road, Petersburg, VA 23803.
