Marianne Heinrich Obituary

Marianne Scheer Heinrich, 83, of Hopewell, died Nov. 6, 2009, at the Medical College of Virginia.

She was the daughter of the late Clara Weissert.

Mrs. Heinrich is survived by her husband, Leroy V. Heinrich; two sons, Ralph C. Heinrich and fiancé, Marie Jones, of Chesterfield, and Leroy F. Heinrich and wife, Ann Marie, of Disputanta; a daughter, Doris Evans and husband, Phil, of Tennessee; four grandchildren, Joshua R. Evans, Cherree A. Heinrich, Lana Lee Will and Hudson D. Heinrich; one great-granddaughter, Emma E. Evans; and several other family members in Germany.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009, in the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, with the Rev. David Prather officiating. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be may to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Attn: Donor Services, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265-0309. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.

Oma you will be missed.You were like a mother to me,i learned a great deal from you and will miss sharing recipes,flowers,your cooking.Will miss you giving me med when im sick:( Most of all i will miss your love and warmth.I will never forget when i first met you,i came by myself and you gave me a necklace and bracelet that i still wear.. You will always hold a special place in my heart..
