God in His Infinite Wisdom dispatched His Heavenly Angels to call Home His beloved Mary Louise Goode, 87, of 20231 Sheffield Place, Ettrick, on Monday, August 6, 2018, at Johnston Willis Medical Center, Richmond. Mary was born November 23, 1930, to the late Royal Montgomery and Louise Vaughan.

She began her formal education at Daniel Webster Davis School and completed it at Carver High School, Chesterfield. She was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church where she was a member of the Golden Circle. She was also affiliated with the Eastern Stars.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Howard Goode; son, Guy Goode; parents, Royal Montgomery and Louise Vaughan; grandson, Royal LaVon Goode; and daughter-in-law, Angelia Goode.

She leaves to cherish her many fond memories her children, Andre Goode (Ernestine), Randy Goode, Patrice Johnson (Robert) and Howard Goode (Traci); grandchildren, Kristopher "Jamar" Goode (Michelle), Letitia Wallace (Derrick), Travis Goode, Tiara Goode, Ariana Goode, Aaron Goode, Antionette Hayes (Tarik), Jemel Robinson (Chasidy), Brionte Goode, Baley Jiggetts, Crystal Henderson, Royal Henderson, Daynika Carter, Jasmin Robinson, Aaliyah Flowers and Travis Barnes; sixteen great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren; twin sister, Martha Mason; sisters-in-law, Marion Vaughan (Wallace), Claudia Jennings and Ernestine Goode; a host of nieces, nephews, devoted, Jerome Mason, cousins, Emma Mountcastle who was raised as her sister, devoted, Lorraine Hester; other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted 3 p.m., Saturday, August 11, 2018, at Union Grove Baptist Church, S. Chesterfield with Pastor Virginia Graham of God's Mission Church, officiating and the Pastor, Rev. William E. Johnson III, eulogizing. Interment to follow in Dinwiddie Memorial Park, Petersburg, VA.
