God in His infinite wisdom has seen fit to summon our dearly beloved, Ms. Mildred Ann Bonner, 69, of 2619 N. Stedman Drive, Trailer #13, Prince George County, Va., from labor to reward on Wednesday, June 18, 2014.

Mildred was born on Sept. 26, 1944, in Emporia, Va., to her now deceased parents, Joann Alease Banks and Walter Banks Sr. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Walter Banks Jr. Mildred was educated in the Chesterfield County Public School System. She was a loving and devoted friend who was willing to provide help to those who were in need. She dearly loved her family and will be sorely missed by all who knew her and loved her.
Loving and fond memories of Mildred will be cherished by her children, Yvonne Bowser, Michael Banks, Sandra Sumler and Kenneth Bonner; 12 grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; one sister, Lydia Harris; two brothers, Charles Banks Sr. (Mary) and Gerald Banks; one aunt, Minnie Coleman of Emporia, Va.; a devoted friend, Ann Allen of Petersburg, Va.; her loving and devoted pet, Shira; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.
Graveside service for Ms. Mildred A. Bonner will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, June 28, 2014, at Mt. Minnis Cemetery, Colonial Heights, Va.; the Rev. Michael Stith, eulogist.
