A very special angel departed this life on Sunday, June 30, 2013, Ms. Nicole Deshawn Richardson. She was born March 24, 1977, in Killeen, Texas. She attended Petersburg High School where she was a part of the ROTC.

She leaves to cherish her memories: two sons, Tirrell Richardson and Kelvin Batts Jr.; a devoted mother, Janet Wilson and father, James Wilson; two sisters, Janille Bryant (John) and Ebony Williams; one brother, Mario Bryant; grandmother, Katie Bryant and grandfather, James Kelly; two aunts, Jewel Hinton of Norfolk and Patricia Williams (Charles) of North Carolina; one uncle, Julius Kelly of North Carolina; one niece; five nephews; and a host of cousins; other family; and friends too numerous to name.
We also would like to thank a special friend and cousin, Tiffini James; best friend, Sharon Akintogunde; a devoted friend, Marvin Morris; and everyone for their prayers and support.
A service of love and remembrance for Ms. Nicole D. Richardson will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 6, 2013, at the chapel of J. M. Wilkerson Funeral Establishment Inc., 102 South Ave., Petersburg.
