Nola Young Obituary

Nola Mae "Tippy" Young, 88, of Petersburg, died Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2009.

She was the daughter of the late Alphonse Adolph and Margaret O'Donnell Bourgeois. She was the widow of Matthew Young.

She is survived by her daughter, Monica Giusto and husband, Thomas; three grandchildren, Marcy Campbell and husband, Scott, Michele Logue and husband, Scott, Melissa Tyrcha and husband, Johnathan; five great-grandchildren, Samantha Campbell, Thomas Campbell, Madison Campbell, Morgan Logue and John Tyrcha; sister, Helen Laney; numerous nephews, nieces and other loving relatives.

A Mass of Resurrection will be held noon Friday, Nov. 27, 2009, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Prince George County, Va. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 501 W. Broad St., Suite 217, Richmond, VA 23230, or Prince George Emergency Crew, P.O. Box 308, Prince George, VA 23875. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.
