Pauline Griffin Obituary
She leaves to cherish her memories, two daughters, Gustina Allen (Darryl), and Vonnie Kelley (Decarlos) all of Petersburg, Va.; three sons, William I. Griffin (Linda), Russell Griffin (Felicia), And Eric Griffin all of Petersburg, Va.; three sisters, Marie Robinson (Ardy), and Shirley Miles, of Dinwiddie, Va.; and Earnstine Mallory (Larry) of Prince George, Va.; one brother, Clarence Miles (Thelma) of Dinwiddie, Va.; Nine sisters-in-law, Lady Roberts (Freddie) of McKenney, Va., Lottie Miles of Dinwiddie, Va., Alice Johnson, Tara Graves, Mary Wilson and Martha Walker all of Petersburg, Va., Katherine Graves and Pearl Shell of Maryland, and Ruth Phidds of New York and Marta Grandison of Petersburg, Va.; Seven brothers-in-law, Patrick Griffin (Meredith) of Stony Creek, Alfreddie Graves, Thomas Graves and Nathan Bradford all of Petersburg, Va.. Ned graves of Colonial Heights, Va., William Massenburg (Sylvia) of Richmond, Va., and Arthur Graves (Dorothy) of South Carolina; Nineteen grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends, and devoted friend Mary Robertson.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010, at Rocky Mount Baptist Church, McKenney, Va., with the Rev. Jordan, officiating. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010, at the Petersburg Chapel of Johnson Funeral Home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Joseph M. Johnson Funeral Home in Petersburg, Va., 804-863-44111.
