Pearlie Birchett Obituary
She is survived by: six sisters, Gloria Lowery (William), Earlene Edwards, Janette Winfield, and Nancy Winfield, all of Waverly, Brenda Massenburg (Joseph) of Prince George, Lucy Lewis (Clyde) of Portsmouth; two brothers, Earl Winfield of Courtland and William Earl Winfield (Malinda) of Waverly; and one godson, James Winfield; two devoted cousins, Wendell and Tyrone Bates of Jersey City, N.J.; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and nephews, cousins, and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, 2011, at Mt. Moriah United Church of Christ, 12499 Old Forty Road, Homeville. The Rev. Freddie Hines will eulogize. The interment will follow in the Mt. Moriah Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Jan.14, 2011, at the Peace-Bland Chapel, Waverly. The family will receive relatives and friends at 25443 Sussex Drive, Waverly, and may be contacted by calling (804) 834-3313.
