Robert F. Hainstock, 83, passed away peacefully, on Aug. 2, 2013, at the Hopewell Health Care Center. He was born on July 5, 1930, in Junction City, Kan., to the late John G. and Floris C. Hainstock; and was also preceded in death by: his two sisters, Betty Lee Doolittle and Carol H. Holt.

He married his high school sweetheart, Rebecca A. Cox, 62 years ago and they were blessed with two wonderful children, Robert Frank (Pat), and Tamara Ann Meadows (Matt).
He is also survived by: five granddaughters, Molly Jean Studer (Kevin), Emily Rebecca Sparks (Brian), Sally Ann Meadows, Kasey Solis (Ramone) and Callista Whitney (Jeremiah); five great-grandchildren, Ava and Caleb Studer, Christian, Reagan and Linaya Solis; and two nieces, Sharon Doolittle Pilert (Fritz) and Jean Doolittle Corona (Henry).
He was retired from Stone Container Corp. and was a member of First Baptist Church where he served as librarian for many years. He was very gifted in woodworking and an avid photographer. He especially loved photographing his beautiful granddaughters. They were the apple of his eye.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2013, at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home. A service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013, at the funeral home, with Pastor Chris Jenkins, pastor of Unity Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Bermuda Memorial Park, Chester.
