Robert Sorrell Obituary
He was the son of the late Charles Boyce & Lorna Tonn Sorrell. Robert was very active in sports and loved coaching softball and baseball especially with the children, was an avid golfer and loved traveling to new places. He served his country in the United States Army, was a Viet Nam Veteran, and served in the US Army Reserves for 16 years.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Theresa of Chester; a son, Gregory Brian Sorrell; daughter, Deena Sorrell Maxfield and husband Troy; three grandchildren, Garrett, Cassie and Jenny, all of Salt Lake City, Utah; sisters, Susie Hutchinson and husband Rod of Fredericksburg, Linda Smith and husband Ron of Dallas, Texas, Carol Pennington of Denver, Colo.; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Tuesday Aug. 17, 2010, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Crater Community Hospice or Huntington's disease Society. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.
