Rosalie Lunser Obituary

Rosalie Irene Lunser, 56, of Chesterfield County, passed away Sunday, Oct. 3, 2010, at Southside Regional Medical Center.

She was the daughter of the late Herbert S. and Rosalie Kreimer Lunser. She was an employee of Virginia Commonwealth Bank and a collector of Civil War memorabilia; she also loved scrapbooking.

She is survived by her brother, Bill Leo Lunser, and significant other, Judy Burnett; two sisters, the Rev. Michele Bradley and Lise Lunser; nieces and nephews, Paul, Robin, Racquel, Matt and Laura; devoted friends, Roberta Hammel and Sue White; two devoted feline companions, Beauregard and Sherman.

A memorial service will be conducted 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010, at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service with Father Lou Ruoff officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Johnston-Willis Oncology Department, 1401 Johnston-Willis Drive, Richmond, VA 23235. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.
