Rose Parrish Obituary
She was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Gladys Cornett Payne. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Lee Parrish. Mrs. Parrish was a longtime member of Third Presbyterian Church in Petersburg, Va.
She is survived by her daughter, Rose Marie Parrish Steffen.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010, in the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home. Interment will be in Blandford Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.

My prayers are with you during the passing of Mrs. Parrish. I remember her beautiful disposition and warm smile that she shared with us all as she participated in several personal development classes that were offered by the Petersburg Public Schools Adult Education Program home economics division.
