Mr. Wayne Leslie Warren Belzer, 73, of Chester, Va., beloved husband of Judith Eggleston Belzer, went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, Oct. 13, 2013.

Mr. Belzer was a retired lieutenant colonel of the U.S. Army, with two tours of duty in Vietnam and the recipient of the Bronze Star. He was also the owner of Belzer Business Services Inc. in Colonial Heights, VA.

Besides his wife, he is also survived by his daughters, Lesli Belzer of Colonial Heights and Brandi (Paul) Niles of Maryland; four grandchildren, Courtney Poulson, Cole Niles, Joshua Belzer and Cora Niles; a sister-in-law, Beverly Eggleston; and former son-in-law, Carl Poulson; two sisters, Marlene Mason of Windsor, Va., and Noreen (Richard) Gaynor of Columbus, Ind.; two brothers, Robert (Diane) Belzer of Boulder Creek, Calif., and Leslie Belzer of Chicago; and his family and friends at Chase City Nursing Home.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013, at J.T. Morris & Son Funeral Home, 3050 W. Hundred Road, Chester, Va. The family will receive relatives and friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013, at J.T. Morris & Son Funeral Home-Chester. He will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Park in Chester.
