William Zeiner Obituary
Bill was the devoted son of Frank Zeiner and the late Joyce Zeiner of Prince George.
Bill was retired from the Department of Defense with 30 years of service. He continued to work as a contractor at the Defense Commissary Agency in Fort Lee. He was a graduate of Prince George High School and Virginia Commonwealth University, a member of the Claremont Sportsman Club, a board member of Fort Lee Federal Credit Union and a member of First Baptist Church in Hopewell. Bill was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his friends and family. Bill was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.
Surviving are his wife of 31 years, Barbara Mabe Zeiner; their children, Mark Zeiner, Brad (and Gara) Zeiner and Krystal Zeiner; four grandchildren; brother, Fritz Zeiner and wife Genie.
The family will receive friends Sunday, Jan. 3, 2010, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Jan. 4, 2010, in the funeral home chapel with interment in Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association: P.O. Box 5216, Glen Allen, VA 23058. Condolences may be registered with jtmorriss.com.

Bill was a great gentleman and friend. I worked with Bill for over 20 years and he will be greatly missed. God bless and comfort you.

Barbara & Family,
Words can not say how sorry I am for your loss. Bill was a truly good man, who loved his family. His life continues on thru each of his loved ones. I hope you can find comfort in all the special moments shared in your life. The memories he left in all of us will always remain.

I did indeed go to prince George HS with Bill--my thoughts and prayers go out to his family..if he died while in the woods hunting, he died doing what he loved..
