Hinnant of Washington, D.C. and Henry Peacock of Los Angeles, Calif.; three sisters-in-law, Elva Barksdale and Dorothy Whipple of Macon, Ga., and Virginia Robertson; four brothers-in-law; Malcolm Robertson of Ettrick, Joseph E. Baskerville Jr. of Petersburg, Robert Robertson of Chesterfield, and Robert Bracey of Norfolk; an aunt, Catherine Hinnant of North Carolina; his godchildren, Brandon M. Jones, Michelle and Latisha Harris; four generations of nieces and nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends, one Kim Winston; a devoted niece, Robin B. Powell; and a devoted caregiver.

A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Friday Nov. 7, 2008 at Shiloh Baptist Church, Chesterfield, with the Rev. A. L. Toney Sr. officiating. The interment will be held at the Church Cemetery.
