Aubrey Mance Kerley of Prince George, died on Sept. 12, 2013. Born in Mebane, N.C., on Oct. 4, 1915, he was the son of the late James and Lily Kerley, and the widower of Wilma Cibula Kerley.

He was preceded in death by: his brothers, Wink, Adrienne, and Jack Kerley; sisters, Grace Carden, Mae Harris, Edna Terrell, Agnes Anderson, Evelyn Neighbors, Margaret Kerley and Ruby Kerley.
Aubrey served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during World War II. Before his retirement, he was employed by Allied Chemical Company of Hopewell.
Aubrey is survived by: his brother, James H. Kerley; sister, Elaine Dodson of Mebane, N.C.; and a host of nephews; and nieces.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013, at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 16, 2013, also at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Prince George Presbyterian Cemetery, Middle Road, and Prince George Drive, in Prince George.
