On Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2014, Deaconess Elsie M. Beale quietly passed away to be with our Father in the eternal home of rest.

She was born on Oct. 11, 1934, to the late Unice Perry and the late Vernon Weathers.
For many years she worked for Virginia Cooperative Extension Service. She attended Hayden High School public school system.
Elsie loved her family and she showed this love through her cooking. She was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church. She was a member of the deaconess board and senior choir.
She was the wife of the late Willie E. Beale for over 40 years and preceded in death by one son, Willie E. Beale Jr.
From that union, left to cherish her memory are: two daughters Barbara D. Hall of Stony Creek, and Sylvia Beale of Colonial Heights; five grandchildren, Laurence, Anita, Nikita, Keisha, and Khristina; four great-grandchildren; host of nieces; nephews; cousins; and friends.
Homegoing services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at Solid Rock Baptist Church, Richmond, the Rev. Richard Johnson, pastor, will officiate. Interment will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2014, in Franklin.
