Mr. Francis Edward Bailey, 56, of Hopewell, departed this life Sunday, May 11, 2014, at his residence.

Mr. Bailey attended Prince George County Public School System. He was a member of Union Baptist Church, Hopewell. He worked at the Hopewell Food Pantry, serving and helping the community.
He will be missed by so many people, especially the children in the neighborhood.
He leaves to cherish his memories: one son, Francis Henley of Chesterfield; two sisters, Mary Harper and Yvonne Pope of Hopewell; three brothers, Charlie Bailey (Betty) of Phoenix City, Ala., Willie Bailey (Cathy) of North Carolina and Ashton Bailey of Hopewell; host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, to include two very dear and devoted friends that helped him, Ms. Tammy Allen and Ms. Dora Draper.
A memorial service for Mr. Francis Bailey will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, May 17, 2014, at Union Baptist Church, 212 Terminal St., Hopewell; the Rev. Anthony Nutt officiating. The family will assemble 1:30 p.m. at the chapel of Turner-Bland Funeral Home.
