Louise Massey Drumheller entered into eternal rest on Sunday, June 1, 2014.

Our mother was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Elizabeth Drumheller of Hopewell. Born in Graham, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Hallie Jane Holt Massey and Albert W. Massey. Louise was a woman full of grace, who enjoyed being around her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed discussing politics with her family members, and loved being at the beach with her family. Louise will be missed greatly by her family and all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Jane Drumheller of Hopewell, Va., and Susan Paige Winegar of Chester, Va.; grandchildren, Robert Allen Eggleston II, Melanie Rachel Hughes of Chester, Va., Kayleigh Cheyenne Roark, Jacob Glenn Roark of Hopewell, Va., Nicole Paige Winegar, Michael Luke Winegar, Isabella Buchanon, Julianna Roark, Christian Michael Griggs of Chester, Va.; great-grandchildren, Robert Allen Eggleston III, Jeffrey Clay Eggleston, Cody Moore, Tripp Moore; her siblings, Lena Whitt, Marie McDaniel, Jeanette Traylor; sister-in-law, Virginia Massey; her niece, Irene Reynolds; and devoted friends, Clayborn (Drummie) Drumheller and Sherry Henderson.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, June 5, 2014, at Woodlawn Baptist Church, 3512 Virginia St., Hopewell, Va., with a celebration of life to follow at 11:30. Interment will follow in Appomattox Cemetery. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.
