Marjorie B. Potter, 84, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at Southside Regional Medical Center.

She was the daughter of the late Percy and Lucille Brockwell, and the widow of Robert Wesley Potter.
She is survived by a daughter, Debra S. Walwer and husband, David, of Colonial Heights; two sons, Robert W. Potter and wife, Michelle, of Washington, and William C. Potter and wife, Sharon, of Chester; grandchildren, Alex McVay, Eric McVay, Sam Spaulding and Lauren Walwer.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014, at Grace Lutheran Church, 13028 Harrowgate Road, Chester, VA 23831, with the Rev. Richard J. Finck officiating. Burial will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 1, 2014, at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Home & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
