Ms. Annette Ampey, 732 Texas Ave., Petersburg, died Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2009, at Southside Regional Medical Center.

She was born June 30, 1962. She was preceded In death by her parents, the late John P. Hill and Pauline Crowder. She was preceded in death by her brothers, James, George, Lawrence, Russell and Kenneth; sister, Nancy Jones; and father-in-law, Willie L. Ampey.

She dedicated her life to Jehovah God on June 6, 1987. She was a regular pioneer for 22 years serving Jehovah. She dedicated her life to Jerry Ampey for 23 years. She was a 1981 graduate of Sussex Central High School. She was employed with Virginia Power, better known as Cleaners of America, for 15 years.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Ampey; sisters, Mary Daymond (John), Virginia Branch, Paulette Pulliam (Ricky), Audrey Crowder, Ethel Crowder and Sandra Johnson (Arthur); brothers, Clyde Crowder (Alma), Willie Crowder (Edith) and John Crowder (Yvette); aunts, Delphine Branch, Ruth Ella Jones and Lettie Williams; uncles, Roscoe Jones, Lorenzo Jones (Alice) and Charles Whitaker; mother-in-law, Geneva Ampey; sisters-in-law, Lucy Pulliam (Casterdural), Lavra Fletcher (James), Alice Ampey, Edith Ampey, Lucy Jones and Alice Crowder; brothers-in-law, Ervin Ampey, Willie Ampey, Alvin Ampey (Latonya) and John Wayne Ampey (Krystal); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous, friends and Kingdom Hall family.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 575 Old Wagner Road, Petersburg.
