Mrs. Christina Andreasen Jones, 43, of 610 Colonial Ave., Colonial Heights, departed this life on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012, at her residence.

She was born to the late Henning Andreasen and Ilsa Andreasen Bauder in San Diego on Aug. 14, 1968. After grade school, Christina attended the Vermont Culinary Arts School in Vermont and also obtained an associate's degree in business from Mesa College, San Diego.

She was a member of First Baptist Church, West Petersburg.

In addition to her parents, Christina was also preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Andreasen.

Left to cherish her precious memories are: her husband, Adrian Jones; sons, Joshua Klaus Briggs, Salt Lake City, Duantè Aric Jones, Dimitri Shamir Jones, Deícan Elijah Henning Jones; daughters, McClaine Evelyn Jones and Adria Rae Jones; brother-in-law, Torin Jones (Priscilla); sisters-in-law, Samantha Thomas (Daniel Sr.), Erical Tyler (James), Velacita Jones (Green) and Shanita Wallace (Robert); father-in-law, Elijah Jones; mother-in-law, Elsie L. Jones; nieces, Tinesha and Alexis Jones, Ashley Andreasen and Brook Dapen; nephews, Daniel Jr., Malik, Demarcus, Tábren, Hakeem, Raheem, Torin Jr. and Devin; a host of several other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, March 2, 2012, at First Baptist Church, West Petersburg. The pastor, the Rev. Peter Jeffrey, will give the eulogy and Pastor Keith Royal, Word of Life Ministries, Chester, will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Thursday evening at the chapel of William N. Bland & Son Funeral Home, Petersburg.
