Clinton Ramsey Obituary
Mr. Ramsey owned and operated Ramsey's Iron and Metal in Petersburg for many years. He was an active member of Living Stone Baptist Church, and was also a member of the Moose in Colonial Heights. Clinton was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.
Mr. Ramsey is survived by: his wife, Linda C. Ramsey; two daughters, Belinda R. Ingram, and Mary Elizabeth R. Wheelhouse and husband, Stuart; three grandchildren, Ryan Ingram and wife, Sarah, Sarah E., and Stuart A. Wheelhouse; a brother, Richard Ramsey; one sister, Elaine Robinson of Macon, Ga.; his four-legged special friend, "Roxy"; and numerous nieces; nephews; and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 2013, at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2013, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ron Newton, officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the SPCA of Colonial Heights, 201 Temple Ave., Suite E, Colonial Heights, VA 23834 or to Living Stone Baptist Church, 5732 Boydton Plank Road, Petersburg, VA 23803. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.
