Phyllis Elizabeth Davis departed this life on Friday, Sept. 13, 2013, at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, Va.

She was born April 30, 1941, to the late Richard Tucker and Martha Bailey Tucker. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Gloria Bailey Knight.
She was a 1959 graduate of L.P. Jackson High School, Dendron, Va. She joined Jerusalem Baptist Church at an early age. She was first employed by G. Fox and Company (branch of Hechts), Quantico Marine Base and Home Instead Senior Care.
She leaves to cherish her memory: one son, Andre Luster and daughter-in-law, Antonia; one grandson, Eric, all of Italy; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; and friends. She leaves a special companion, Robert Brown of Triangle, Va.
She will be remembered by everyone that knew her and never forgotten by those that loved her.
Funeral services for Ms. Davis will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20, 2013, at Jerusalem Baptist Church, Dendron, Va., with the Rev. Adams, eulogizing. Interment will follow in the Bailey Family Cemetery.
