Arch was my friend, co-worker, and teammate. I'll never forget him hitting a 3 run homer in the 1979 State Softball Championship game to lead us to the title.
My thoughts go out to his family. He will surely be missed.

To Al's kids and grandkids and the many friends of "Arch",too. We will all miss him terribly. As an employee at the VA, I know first hand of Al's deep friendships (me included)who are just at a total loss right now. Al loved his kids and Grandkids (and all his family--I loved hearing of the weddings, family reunions, etc...) so much, God bless you all as you struggle to adjust without him. Happy Birthday, Al. You were the best!!
Truly,
Cathy "Kate"
