CASEY, MARY E., of Narragansett and formerly of Edgewood, passed away February 26, 2013. She was the wife of Charles J. Casey. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Thomas J. and Eleanor (Cox) Brennan. She had been employed by the U.S. Customs Dept. for 31 years until her retirement in 1983, and had previously worked in Washington D.C., as a Secretary for the late former Senator John O. Pastore. Mrs. Casey had served as Campaign Secretary for then Sen. John F. Kennedy in his run for the Presidency in 1960. She was a member of the St. Paul women's club. Besides her husband she leaves a son; Charles M. Casey of Warwick and a daughter; Maura Watson of Providence, as well as 3 grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Robert S. and Thomas J. Brennan. Her Funeral will be held Monday at 8:00am from the Jones-Walton-Sheridan Funeral, 1895 Broad St., at Park Ave., Cranston, with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 9:00am in St. Paul Church of Edgewood, 1 Warwick Ave., Cranston.
