SCHWAB, PAUL F. 77, formerly of Newport, died January 18th at Warren Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a short illness. Born April 7, 1935 in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Christopher F and Beatrice (Payette) Schwab. He was the former owner of Pleasant View Nursing Home in Warren and former Wholly Mackeral and Tivoli Garden Restaurants in Newport. He is survived by his brother John "Jack" Schwab and sister in law Ruth, nephews Paul and Christopher (wife Jen), nieces Tammy and Kristin (husband Wayne), and 2 great nephews Aidan and Brett. Burial is private.

Jack and Ruth: I am so sorry to hear of Pauls Passing. Both Kathy (Goggin) and myself have been looking for him for the past couple of years. Jack I don't know if you remember me but I was franks son who did the laundry for Pleasant View. I always liked and admired Paul as he always treated me very well. I wish you all the best going forward.
