To the Crowley family, my sincere condolences. Dan was a close friend dating back to the 50's, when we both worked for the Journal, did a lot of double dating, and joined the Air Force together. He was a tough, loveable Irishman. Unfortunately while our friendship lessened when I left R.I. in 1956, and other than chatting with him when I believe he was living in New Hampshire, he was never forgotten; too many close memories! My very best to all of you, and will keep both you and Dan in my prayers.

My sincere sympathy for the loss of your dear father. I am a volunteer at Pocasset Bay. Dan and I had many wonderful conversations while at Pocasset. Dan being a Red Sox fan and myself being a Yankee fan you can only imagine the fun we had. I will miss very much.
Again my sympathy goes out to all of you.
