John DeCristofaro Obituary

DeCRISTOFARO, JOHN JR. 82, of Johnston, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2013 at Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence. He was the beloved husband of the late Teresa (Ruggieri) DeCristofaro. Born in North Providence, he was the son of the late John and Palma (Cambio) DeCristofaro, Sr. John was a truck driver for S&R Construction Company for many years before retiring and was a U.S. Korean war Air Force veteran. He was the devoted father of Debra L. Borzaro and her husband Joseph of Cranston; and dear brother of the late Vilma Turchetta, William and Eugene DeCristofaro. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave. Cranston on Friday at 8:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, Johnston at 9:30 a.m. Interment with military honors will be in Highland Memorial Park in Johnston. Visiting Hours are Thursday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: St. Robert Bellarmine, Food Shelf, 1804 Atwood Ave., Johnston, RI 02919-3244.
