Hetherman, Henry - Lincoln  
HETHERMAN, HENRY L. "BUDDY" JR. 60, of Lincoln passed away peacefully Monday, July 18, 2016 at Miriam Hospital, Providence. He was the beloved partner of Nancy Meers. Born in Providence, a son of the late Henry L. and Catherine (Burke) Hetherman, he had lived in Cranston before moving to Lincoln 22 years ago. He was a graduate of Johnston High School. Buddy worked as an auto body and insurance appraiser for East Side Auto Body, Allendale, Arlington, and the former Criss Cadillac. He was an avid New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox fan, and a member and active volunteer of the Dodge-Goulais Post #29, American Legion, North Providence. Buddy was a quiet and kind man with a dry wit, and always willing to give a helping hand to others before his own needs. Besides Nancy, he is survived by his two loving daughters, Christine McNamee of Saunderstown and Jessica Hetherman Bowry of North Kingstown; three sisters, Christine Cook of Freedom, NH, and Meg Hetherman and Joanne Hetherman Bianco, both of Warwick; four brothers, William Hetherman of Easton, PA, Michael Hetherman of Smithfield, John Hetherman of Warwick and Thomas Hetherman of Coventry; four grandchildren, Kiley Hetherman, Jack and Emma McNamee, and Natalia Bowry; and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Madonna Mary Hetherman and Vincent P. Hetherman. His prayer service will be held Saturday, July 23 at 3 P.M. at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln. Burial will be private. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Saturday from 1:30-3 P.M. Hamilton, Sister Mary Michaeleen - Cumberland  
HAMILTON, SISTER MARY MICHAELEEN 86, a Sister of Mercy for 67 years, died on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Mount St. Rita Health Centre, Cumberland. She was the daughter of the late Michael and Jane (Byrne) Hamilton. Sister was the sibling of the late Rev. James Hamilton, beloved brother and dear friend. Sister Michaeleen entered the Sisters of Mercy in 1948 and professed vows in 1951. She was an exemplary educator and great inspiration to many young women whom she sponsored in religious life. Sister began her teaching ministry at St. Joseph Parish School in Pawtucket and continued as Latin Teacher for many years at St. Xavier Academy and then at St. Mary Academy, Bay View. In addition to her life-time certification as a secondary teacher of Latin, Sister received many outstanding awards in recognition of her mastery of the language. Visitation will be held at St. John Vianney Parish, 3609 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am with a Mercy Prayer Service at 10:40 am. A liturgy of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am. Interment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Providence. In lieu of flowers, donations in Sister's memory may be made to the Sisters of Mercy, 15 Highland View Road, Cumberland, RI 02864 or to Mount St. Rita Health Centre, 15 Sumner Brown Road, Cumberland, RI.
