Talty, Catherine - Warwick  
TALTY, CATHERINE E. 59, a resident of Warwick, R.I since 1958, died Saturday, May 23, 2015, at home. Born in Laconia, New Hampshire, December 20 1955, she was the daughter of the late Thomas B. and Ellen (O'Mara) Talty. Cathy was the niece of the late Daulette O'Mara. She is survived by her brother, Thomas L. Talty of Harker Heights, Texas and her uncle, Denis G. O'Mara of Meredith, New Hampshire. She attended Warwick public schools, graduating from Pilgrim High School in 1973. Cathy graduated from Colby-Sawyer College, New London, New Hampshire in 1975. She was employed as a secretary in the Brown University Mathematics Department, an insurance administrator with Merrill-Lynch, and as a collections agent with Citizens Bank. Cathy took excellent care of her grandmother and mother during their sickness. When her Uncle Denis was injured in a car accident, she took charge of his care and rehabilitation, providing excellent care and guidance to his health care workers. Cathy was a loving and gentle person, a wonderful daughter, sister, niece and friend. She'll be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral Monday at 9:00 AM from the Jones-Walton-Sheridan Funeral Home, 1895 Broad St. at Park Ave., Cranston, RI, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter Church, 350 Fair St., Warwick, at 10:00 A.M. Toegemann, Barbara - Smithfield  
TOEGEMANN, BARBARA M. (FRANCO) 72, passed away Tuesday May 26, 2015. She was the beloved wife of Peter W. Toegemann. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late James P. and Anna (Zompa) Franco. Mrs. Toegemann lived in Greenville for over 52 years and worked as the head of housekeeping from the former Waterman Heights Nursing Home for 25 years and as a housekeeper for the nuns at Church of the Presentation in North Providence before retiring in 1998. She was devoted to her faith and family and enjoyed her time with her children and grandchildren. Besides her husband, she is survived by her loving daughters, Kim M. Pizzarelli and her husband Mark of North Smithfield and Cheryl A. Cazeault and her husband Roger of Greenville. She was the cherished grandmother of Anthony Pizzarelli, Roger Cazeault, Jr. and Brittany Cazeault; sister of Judy A. Krekorian. Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Philip's Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville, Monday June 1, 2015 at 11am. Tongue, Valerie - North Providence  
TONGUE, VALERIE A. (Desjarlais) 82, died Sunday May 24, 2015 at the Chestnut Terrace Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Brian Tongue, Sr. Born in Burrillville, she was a daughter of the late Leon and Evelyn (Herard) Desjarlais. Valerie had a profound love of cribbage, and she loved to quilt. She was very active in her retirement community. She is survived by her children, Clarissa Fox, Greg Tongue, Kenneth Tongue, Cynthia Martin and Pamela Folco, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren, and two siblings, Dennis Desjarlais and Louise Clement. She was the sister of the late William, Gilbert and Robert Desjarlais and Yvonne Giacobbi. Her visitation will be held Thursday from 8:15 AM to 9:15 AM in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave. North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, North Providence. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Home and Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904.

TOPPI, MARIE D. 82, died Wednesday, May 20, 2015. She was the widow of Oresto J. Toppi. Daughter of the late Albert A. and Marie L. (Breard) Duhaime. She was the sister of the late Rev. James Duhaime and Albert Duhaime, Jr. She is survived by her brothers, Joseph "Fran" and Gilbert Duhaime and nieces and nephews. Tramonti, Eileen - Warwick  
TRAMONTI, EILEEN R. (McGINN) 84, died Wednesday, May 20, 2015. She was the wife of the late Edward J. Tramonti and the late Gerard J. Cote. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Joseph and Myra (Paulhus) McGinn, she has been a Warwick resident over 63 years. Mrs. Tramonti had worked as a secretary for the Warwick Fire Department's Fire Prevention Unit, until retiring and formerly worked at Warwick Veterans Memorial High School. Throughout her life she demonstrated strength and devotion to her family. She was the beloved mother of Stephen F. Cote, Maureen S. Mottola, Sharon A Martineau, John J. Tramonti and the late Gerard J. "Jerry" Cote; special mother-in-law of Maggie Hayes Cote, Cynthia Cote, Steven Mottola and Heather Tramonti; loving grandmother of Matthew and Russell Cote, Laura Cote-Gonzalez, Andrea and David Cote, Peter, Sara and Megan Mottola, Michael and Daniel Martineau, Hannah and Jack Tramonti; sister of Frances Cobb, Patricia Malloy, the late Doris Lariviere and Maureen Robberson. Her funeral will be held Thursday, May 28, at 9 am from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Kevin Church, Sandy Lane.
