O'Connor, Anita L. - Pawtucket  
O'CONNOR, ANITA L. (DUBOIS) 95, formerly of Pawtucket, passed away Saturday at the Steere House Nursing and Rehab of Providence. She was the wife of the late William D. O'Connor Sr. Born in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Marie (Aubuchon) Dubois. She resided in Pawtucket for most of her life. She was an avid line and tap dancer, dancing with the "Classics" dance group of Blackstone Valley. She loved to travel, was a lifelong New York Yankee fan, and was a long-time volunteer at the Jeanne Jugan Residence, Little Sisters of the Poor in Pawtucket. She leaves her three sons, William D. O'Connor Jr. (Beverly Ahlijanian) of Cranston, Michael P. O'Connor of Pawtucket, and Jamie J. O'Connor (Valarie) of Scituate; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Pete Dubois, Roland Dubois, Oscar Dubois, Archie Dubois, Rose Chagnon, Lillian Chevalier, Florence German, and Bertha Jenks. A celebration of her life will be held Thursday at 9 AM from the J.J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in the Historic St. Joseph Church, Mendon Road, Cumberland. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Visiting Hours will be held Wednesday from 4 to 7 PM. In lieu of flowers. donations may be made in her memory to Steere House Nursing and Rehab, 100 Borden Street, Providence, RI 02903 or to Home and Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.
