Terracciano, Armand - West Warwick  
TERRACCIANO, ARMAND A. 91, of New London Ave., passed away surrounded by loving family, at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center on Monday, August 24, 2015. He was the husband of the late Inga E. (Pahlow) Terracciano and a son of the late Domenico and Guiseppina (D'Elia) Terracciano. Armand, a lifelong resident of West Warwick, was a WWII US Army Staff Sergeant with Company I serving in Italy, France and in Northern Africa. He also served with the Office of Strategic Services (OSS) 2671st Special Reconnaissance Battalion Company A in Italy and Company B in France. Armand received many decorations and citations for his valor during WWII. One example is when Armand saved another soldier when their plane crashed in the Italian Alps. They were the only survivors. Armand was a certified watchmaker and jeweler. He graduated from the Kansas School of Watch making and Engraving in 1949. He was certified in watchmaking by The Horological Institute of America in 1958 and studied watchmaking in Switzerland in 1982. He belonged to the American Watchmakers Institute and he was a past president of the RI Chapter. Armand earned certificates in watchmaking from Bulova and Benrus. Additionally, he worked as an aircraft instrument technician at the Quonset Point NAS and as a watch repairer for Sears. Armand enjoyed golfing, bowling, ballroom dancing, and playing guitar. He was the father of Linda T. Benson and her husband Fay of Groton, NY, Gina T. Mootrey and her husband James of Atlanta, GA and the late Domenic A. Terracciano. He was the grandfather of Erika Benson, Alexander Benson and Sean Mootrey. Armand was the brother of Salvatore Terracciano and Vincent Terracciano, both of West Warwick, and the late Anna Senerchia. His Funeral will be Saturday at 9 am from the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St., (Rte.117) Coventry, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Sacred Heart Church. Interment with military honors in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Warwick. Visiting hours TODAY, 4- 7 pm. Theberge, Elizabeth "Bette" - Woodbury  
THEBERGE, ELIZABETH "BETTE" K. 73 of Woodbury, MN, formerly of Saratoga, NY passed away peacefully Sunday, August 23, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Deloris; and her brothers, Charles and Richard. Bette is survived by her husband of 52 years, Ronald; daughter, Kathleen (Peter) Ingebrand; granddaughters, Hannah, Gabriella, and Sophia; nephew, Richard Jr.; and other relatives. Bette loved children and cared for many from infancy to school age. She also loved animals, especially "Inga" and "Yuki", who visited her often. A special thank you to the loving care given to Bette by the staffs at Woodwinds Hospital, Woodbury Health Care Center, and HealthEast Hospice Care. Thompson, John - Narragansett  
THOMPSON, JOHN M. 84, of Narragansett died Saturday at So. County Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Deborah (Germain) Thompson and a loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle. Tombello, Cristine - North Providence  
TOMBELLO, CRISTINE "TINA" (DeCRISTOFARO) 86, of North Providence, passed away on August 26, 2015. She was a daughter of the late Domenico and Jennie (Imondi) DeCristofaro. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Michael, and her only son, Michael F. Tombello. Cristine worked at A.T. Cross of Lincoln for many years before retiring. She was predeceased by her sisters, Ann Salvadore of North Providence, Estelle Christensen of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Elaine Petronella of West Hartford, CT. She leaves a brother, Ralph DeCristofaro of Warwick. She was the aunt of Joseph C. Salvadore, Esquire and his wife, Maria, of Lincoln, David J. Salvadore and his wife, Lori, of Johnston and Christopher P. Salvadore, and his wife, Elaine of Barrington and other nieces and nephews. She was the grand-aunt of Christian J. Salvadore, Jessica M. Salvadore, Jennifer Taylor Salvadore, Joseph D. Salvadore, Lorin Salvadore, Andrew Salvadore and Nicholas Salvadore. Cristine thoroughly enjoyed life and time with her family and friends. She was quick with her wit and fast with her smile, and always willing to lend a hand and ear whenever she could. Cristine will be greatly missed by all that knew her. May Cristine rest in peace in God's loving embrace forever. Treelisky, Eleanor - East Providence  
TREELISKY, ELEANOR RUTH 85, of Providence passed away peacefully on August 24. She was born in Providence, daughter of the late Fred and Mollie Abrams, and sister of the late Leonard Abrams. Devoted mother to Carole Bender and her husband Jeff of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Gail Reiter and her husband Ira of Sarasota, FL, and Peter Botvin and his wife Becky of Houston, TX. Loving grandmother of Gregory and Jason Bender, Sam and Emily Reiter, Vicky, David, and Joanna Botvin; and great-grandmother of Brooke, Jake, Julia, and Alya Bender. Turner, John - Providence  
TURNER, JOHN FRANCIS SR., 75, passed away August 6, 2015 at his home in Lake Wales, Florida, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife, Jean Ann (Romano) Turner; four children, Brian and his wife Sharlene, David, John Jr. and his wife Sheila, and Lisa as well as eight grandchildren. In addition to his wife and children, he is survived by his brothers, James and Thomas. He is predeceased by his parents Arthur and Emma (Greenan) Turner. John graduated from Mount Pleasant High School, Providence, RI. Upon graduation he served in the United States Marine Corp. He is also a graduate of Community College of RI, Rhode Island College and Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. John held various sales and managerial positions at Sel-Rex in Warwick, RI, Oxy Metal Finishing International in Nutley, NJ, American Chemical & Refinery in Waterbury, CT, Technic in Cranston, RI, and Leviton Manufacturing in Warwick, RI. Upon retiring, John began a new occupation working at Walt Disney World/EPCOT, where he enjoyed creating "MAGIC." A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, September 11, 2015 at the Club Frontenac, 1143 Main St., West Warwick, from 6pm to 9pm. A spiritual Mass will be held at 8am on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston.
