Dunn, Robert - Lincoln  
DUNN, ROBERT L. JR., 87, of Lincoln passed away Saturday in the Philip Hulitar Center, Providence. Born in Pawtucket he was the son of the late Robert L. and Maybelle (Gardner) Dunn, Sr. He was a truck driver employed by the Hemmingway Transportation Co. for 30 years and had continued driving until his retirement. Mr. Dunn was a WW II, U. S. Coast Guard veteran. He was a member of Teamsters Local 251, East Providence for over 50 years and a member of the Memorial Hospital Cancer Support Group. Among his survivors he leaves a companion of many years, Lucille V. Larivee, three daughters, Barbara A. Dunn and Beverly J. Vincenzi both of Lincoln and Nancy E. Getchell of Coventry. Two sisters, Elizabeth G. McGlauflin and Dorothy D. Scott, both of Evans, Georgia, four grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was also the father of the late Robert L. Dunn III and brother of the late Maybelle H. Martell. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held Sunday, April 26 at 11 a.m. in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Rd. Rte. 122, Cumberland. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904. Dunphy, Kevin - West Warwick  
DUNPHY, KEVIN 69, of West Warwick, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on April 21, 2015. Born in Wakefield, RI on August 22, 1945 he was the son of the late Raymond and late Catherine (Coleman) Dunphy. He was raised in East Greenwich and graduated from East Greenwich High School with the class of 1963. Also a graduate of Providence College in 1967, Kevin continued his education and received his master's degree of education from Providence College in 1980. He was employed by the RI Department of Corrections Adult Probation and Parole Department for 25 years as a probation and parole counselor, and more recently, as the deputy compact administrator. Kevin retired in February 2014, and he was loved and admired by many colleagues. He was also employed by the Department of Children Youth & Families as a child protective investigator and at the Opportunities Industrialization Center in Providence (OIC) as a special education counselor. He also worked at the New England Regional Burn Program in Boston as an assistant New England coordinator. Kevin served as an active duty military intelligence officer in the United States Army Security Agency from 1969 1973. He was a member of the Roger Williams University faculty (School of Law) as a guest lecturer. Kevin was an avid reader and loved the Boston Red Sox and Irish Music. He was the treasurer and past president of the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick. He was an active communicant of St. Joseph's Parish in West Warwick and attended the 8 am mass. Family always came first to Kevin. He was the beloved husband of 47 years of Janet Dunphy of West Warwick. Kevin was the loving father of Kevin R. Dunphy, Jr. and wife Amy Dunphy of Walnut Creek, CA, and Colleen M. Gordon and husband Michael Gordon, of Attleboro MA. Kevin cherished and loved his 6 grandchildren, Shawn Gordon, Ryan Gordon, Meghan Gordon, Christian Dunphy, Brayden Dunphy and Keira Dunphy. He was the brother of Patricia Alessi and her husband Cosimo of Phoenix, AZ, Sheila Greene and her husband David of South Kingston, RI, the late Terrence Dunphy of Barrington, RI, and his wife Gail, many beloved nieces and nephews. Funeral Monday at 8:00 am from the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., E. Greenwich followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 65 Third St., E. Greenwich. Burial with military honors will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, E. Greenwich. Calling hours: Sunday 3-7 pm. Dussault, Cecile - Lincoln  
DUSSAULT, CECILE M. (PONTBRIAND) 88, of Bouvier Avenue, Manville died Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at home embraced in the love of her entire family. She was the most beloved wife of the late Lucien O. Dussault with whom she had been married for 64 years. Born in Manville, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Arsene and Elise (Vandal) Pontbriand, she had lived in Manville all her life and wintered in Yuma, Arizona. Mrs. Dussault was a full time homemaker while her children grew, and later, she was a Cook's Helper for the State of Rhode Island Lunch program and retired in 1988. She was a devoted member of St. James Parish in Manville where she taught Religious Education, worked as the Cashier for the Parish Carnival, volunteered for the Annual Charity Fund Appeal, Parish Council and many committees over the years. Cecile loved to travel with her husband and one particularly precious memory for her was visiting the Holy Land. Mom was an outgoing and generous person for whom family was central. Her greatest lifelong passions were traveling, cooking, spending time with loved ones especially playing cards each evening embroidering and reading. She was a woman of deep faith and devotion, and prayed daily. Cecile is survived by her four children: two daughters, Carmen Dussault and her husband Donald Evernden of Rimbey, Alberta, and Louise Dussault of Manville; two sons, Roger Dussault and his wife, Donna of Las Vegas, NV and Paul Dussault and his wife, Rosalinda of Reno, NV; one sister, Suzanne Pontbriand, who lived in the same building with her for over fifty years; three brothers, Lucien Pontbriand and his wife, Joan, Leo Pontbriand and his wife, Pauline, and Richard Pontbriand and his wife, Jacqueline; one sister-in-law, Sylvia Pontbriand; one brother-in-law, Edward Agena; dear family friend, Fernande Dery of Manville; three grandchildren, Irene, Christian and David; two step-grandchildren, Misty and Jimmy; four great grandchildren, Katherine, Amber, Hunter and Gage; one great great granddaughter, Brooklyn; two godchildren, Renee and Debbie; and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Sr. Doris Pontbriand, SSA and Jean Pontbriand, and the sister-in-law of the late Cecile Agena. Her funeral will be held Saturday, April 25 at 8:30 A.M. from Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. in St. James Church, 33 Division Street, Manville. Her burial will be private. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Friday 4-7 P.M.
