Cartwright-Fiske, Barbara - Cranston  
CARTWRIGHT-FISKE, BARBARA M. (GARDNER) 95, a former elementary school teacher in Cranston died peacefully on December 25, 2015 at the Cedars in Cranston. Born in Providence, Barbara was the wife of the late Eugene S. Fiske. She was the daughter of the late Beneta (Gill) and Charles J. Gardner of Warwick, mother of Gregory G. Fiske of Cranston, grandmother of Sarah M. Fiske and the late Peter G. Fiske, and great grandmother of Breale Fugate, Neven and Nathaniel Herrell. She is also survived by her son Gregory's longtime companion Rosalie W. Cummings of Barrington. A graduate of Cranston High School and Rhode Island College, Barbara was a 5th and 6th grade teacher for 30 years who also enjoyed world travel. She was a resident of the Scandinavian Home for 2 1/2 years. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, July 27th at 6 p.m. in The Butterfield Chapel, 500 Pontiac Avenue, Cranston. Chace, Paul - East Providence  
CHACE, PAUL F. 76, of Sarasota, FL and formerly of East Providence, died at home, June 24, 2016. He was the husband of Elizabeth "Betsy" (Emerson) Chace. Born Nov. 26, 1939 in Somerset, MA, he was a son of the late Arnold E. and Mary (Lawrence) Chace. Paul was a veteran of the US Army. In addition to his wife of 39 years, he leaves a son Geoffrey Chace of Cranston; a brother Russell Chace and sister Mary Parent of Somerset, MA; a sister-in-law Gail Landry and husband George of Riverside; a loving nephew Arnie Chace, III and his wife Karen of Seekonk, MA; his stepdaughters, Diane Auclair-Garcia of Somerset, MA and Louise Przytes of Little Compton; and numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins. He was the father of the late Paul F. Chace Jr. and also the brother of the late Arnold Chace Jr. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 20, at 10:30am in the Rebello Funeral Home and Crematory, 901 Broadway, East Providence. Military honors and burial will follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 9am until the time of service at 10:30am.

Clarke, John - Cranston  
CLARKE, JOHN J. 78, of Harris Avenue, died Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the former husband of Diane J. (Castriotta) Clarke. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late William and Violet (Borsey) Clarke. John worked as a machinist for G-Tech Corporation for many years before retiring. He loved gardening, fishing, and was an avid cyclist. A frequent competitor in the Senior Olympics he was involved in several tri state marathons and rode his bike 25 miles three times a week. He leaves a daughter, Kimberly A. Branch, two brothers, Andrew and Robert Clarke, two sisters, Mary Hamilton, and Violet Theberge, and two grandchildren, Amanda C. and Adam R. Branch. He was a brother of the late William Clarke and Jean Bonner. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2016, at 12:00 noon, in the Hope Church, 88 Hathaway Road, Dartmouth, Massachusetts to which relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hasbro Childrens Hospital, 593 Eddy Street, Providence, RI 02903 in his memory will be appreciated. Colenback, Lloyd - Saline  
COLENBACK, LLOYD J. JR. 87, a native of Toledo, Ohio, died on July 9, 2016 in Saline, Michigan, surrounded by his family. Lloyd is survived by his three children, The Hon. Judith Colenback Savage (ret.) and husband Jonathan N. Savage of Providence, RI; Timothy L. Colenback and wife Kimberly A. Colenback of Ann Arbor, MI; and Girard Mosby Colenback of Providence, RI; his four grandchildren, Justin B. Savage and wife Elizabeth L. Savage; Jeremy B. Savage and fiancée Katherine E. Berling; Julia M. Savage; and Luke A. Dudek; and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by May Virginia Harvey Colenback, his wife of 41 years, his parents and his brothers. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park, 4210 W. Central Avenue, Toledo, OH 43606. Crudale, Lillian - Cranston  
CRUDALE, LILLIAN "PAT" (REILLY) 82, of Cranston passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2016 surrounded by her loving family at Woodpecker Hill Nursing Home, Greene. She was the beloved wife of the late Alphonse E. Crudale, Sr. they were married for 62 years. Born in Providence moving to Cranston in 1953, she was the daughter of the late George and Elizabeth (Conway) Reilly. Pat graduated from Central High School in 1951. She received a certificate from The Electronic Computer Programming Institute, where she graduated third in her class. Pat was a member of the Mended Hearts RI Chapter 185 and served as treasurer for many years and was also a communicant of St. Mary's Church. She enjoyed cooking, baking, reading, music, dancing and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Karen E. Kuski, of Cranston and Alphonse E. Crudale Jr. of Wallkill, NY. Pat was also the mother of the late Arthur G. Crudale of Cranston. Pat is the grandmother of Michael Kuski and his wife Amanda of North Scituate, Ryanne Richardson and her husband Shaun of Virginia Beach, Robert Kuski and his wife, Lauren of North Kingstown, Mark Kuski and his wife Jillean of North Kingstown, Cynthia Crudale of Connecticut, Al Crudale III of Wallkill, NY and Joseph, Brittany and Katelyn Crudale of Providence. She was the great grandmother of Jayden Crudale, Tyler Kuski, Joseph Crudale, Emily Kuski, Aiden Kuski, Jack Richardson, Lily Kuski, Serenity Salmeron Crudale, Riley Richardson and Gabriella Kuski. Pat was also the great grandmother of the late Arianna E. Carnevale-Kuski. Pat was the mother in law of the late Annette (McCormick) and sister of Joan Singhass of FL. Pat was the former mother in law of William Kuski and Ann Crudale. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, godchildren and cousins. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Wednesday at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Cranston. Daby, William - Smithfield  
DABY, WILLIAM K. left the world that he loved on July 13, 2016. Bill was the wonderful husband of Doris R. Daby for 30 years, and stepfather to Dawn E. Mureddu and her husband Chuck, Jill M. Taylor and her husband Gregg and the late Robin J. Paolino. He was also step grandfather to Anna M. Dunn and Emma M. Dunn which he loved dearly. He adored this family. Bill, sometimes known as Kenny in his hometown of Fall River, Mass. was born on July 31, 1938, the son of Charles G. and Mary Kenny Daby. Brother of Joan Fachetti and Johnathan Daby and Uncle to the Fachetti clan. Bill received an art degree from the University of Mass., Dartmouth. He served as an army photographer stationed in Texas as well as Germany. He credits this experience for his feeling for street, architectural and landscape photography. It served him well in his more than 35 years as a photojournalist with newspapers in the midwest and Rhode Island's Providence Journal. Bill has been the recipient of many awards for excellence in photojournalism. Many of his creative works are on public display in offices, galleries and restaurants. During his long and successful career, he has taken pictures in over 30 countries. He has been in many unique situations to get the shot. He has scaled pyramids in Egypt, went aloft in the Goodyear blimp as well as flown with the Snowbirds, Canada's Air Force's precision flying team amoung many other adventures. He has had so many and loved to share them with others as well as lending a fascinated ear to anyone who shared their experiences with him. He was generous to a fault. He had a unique understanding of the human condition and tried to reveal it in a most positive way. He had a passion for photography and was happiest with his camera in hand. Bill was a true artist admired by many. Visitation will be held Monday from 4-7 p.m. in the Redwood Chapel at Swan Point Cemetery with his funeral service on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the Redwood Chapel at Swan Point Cemetery, 585 Blackstone Blvd., Providence.
