LaPorte, Joseph - Burrillville  
LaPORTE, JOSEPH H. 63, died Monday, July 27, 2015 in Philip Hulitar Center, Providence. He was the husband of Linda (Martin) LaPorte of Pascoag. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of Augusta (Gale) LaPorte of Pascoag and the late Louis LaPorte. Joseph worked for the Burrillville DPW starting in 1994 and became a supervisor. He was an avid golfer and was a member of Raceway Golf Club in Thompson, CT. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting especially in Maine. He was a Vietnam veteran of the US Army, who served in Korea. Besides his loving wife, he is survived by two sons: Christopher LaPorte of Lufkin, TX and Louis LaPorte of Smithfield; one brother: Howard LaPorte of Nasonville; one sister: Gail Senerchia of West Warwick and three grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son Daniel LaPorte. His funeral will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 10:00 AM from the Boucher Funeral Home, 272 Sayles Ave. Pascoag. Services and burial will follow at 11 AM in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Main St. Pascoag. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 5 to 8 PM. LaRiviere, Yvette - Lincoln  
LARIVIERE, YVETTE L. (THIBAUDEAU) 88, of Lincoln passed away peacefully on Saturday July 25, 2015 surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Lucien M. LaRiviere. Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Yvette Lanciaux Thibaudeau. Yvette lived a full life always surrounded by her loving family. Yvette was a full time homemaker whose passion was cooking. She attended several cooking schools taught by famed chefs and used her skills to prepare countless meals for family and friends. She was also the co-owner of Belle Bridal in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Yvette is survived by her six children, Yvette Hoagland and her husband Donald, Lucien P., Mark and his wife Jacquelyn, Eric and his wife Carol, Kenneth and his wife Ann Marie, and Jeffrey and his wife Merric. Yvette was the grandmother of fourteen and the great grandmother of four. She is also survived by her siblings Jeanne Thibaudeau, Roberta Masse, Pauline Neri and her husband Frank, Louise Dakake and her husband Norman, Richard Thibaudeau, and Henri Thibaudeau and his wife Rebecca, and sister in law Patricia Thibaudeau. She is predeceased by brothers Philip and Robert. Calling hours for Yvette will be Friday July 31st from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Lincoln Funeral Home located at 1501 Lonsdale Avenue, Lincoln RI. A Mass of Christian burial will take place Saturday August 1st at 10:00 am at St. Jude's Church located at 301 Front St., Lincoln RI. LEWIS, LOUISE M. (LAURIE) 76, passed away at home on Sunday, July 26, 2015. She was the wife of the late Frank Lewis and the former wife of Robert Robinson of Rehoboth. Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late Raymond J. and Alma M. (Fabas) Laurie. Louise was a former member of the Laborers Union No. 271. Besides her former husband, she leaves four daughters, Shirley L. Godin of Rehoboth, Sally A. Wilson of Pawtucket, Central Falls Police Detective Sandy M. Robinson and Shelly R. Scorpio both of Lincoln; a son, Robert A. Robinson of East Providence; a brother, Raymond P. Laurie of Attleboro; three sisters, Therese I. Laurie of Seekonk, Lucille Greco of Maine and Janice Taylor of Kansas; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Henry Laurie. Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Interment will follow at Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. MARTIN, JANE A. 85, of Warwick, passed away at home Sunday, July 27th, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. Born in West Chester, PA she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Elizabeth Divine. She was the beloved wife of Matthew S. Martin, Jr. for 67 years. Besides her husband she is survived by her children Judith L. Moquin (William), Lawrence R. Martin (Maureen), Matthew S. Masi, Anthony - N. Kingstown  
MASI, ANTHONY July 18, 1924 July 29, 2015 husband of the late Gloria Sorrentino Masi, died peacefully at Scalabrini Villa, North Kingstown on July 29, 2015. Born in 1924,he grew up on Branch Ave in Providence where his family owned Masi's Bakery. He attended Hope High School, Brown University and was a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy. Anthony lived in Cranston for 48 years before moving to Jonathan's Landing in Jupiter, Florida in 1988. Along with his late wife Gloria, he achieved Life Master status as a member of the Rhode Island Bridge Club. An avid, life-long golfer, he was a life-long member of Metacomet Country Club and Jonathan's Landing Country Club in Florida. He is survived by his three children and their spouses: Anthony Masi, Kate Black and Patricia Paolella and her husband, Dr. Landy as well as his five grandchildren: Kara Masi, Jason Masi and his wife, Robin, Alexa Paolella and her husband Kevin Boone, Jesse Paolella and Gian Paolella. He is also survived by his two beloved great-granddaughters, Hannah and Cora Masi. He is the brother of Robert Masi and his wife Lydia and the late Carl and Harry Masi. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 31st from 9-10:30AM at "WOODLAWN" Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Avenue Cranston. McKenna and his wife Kathleen of Cranston, John T. McKenna and his wife Jacqueline of Hope, RI and the late James McKenna, Mary Elizabeth McKenna and William J. McKenna, Jr. Loving grandmother of Sarah E. King and Emily C. King, both of North Providence and Shannon C. McKenna, Kelly McKenna and Megan DiFabio, all of Cranston. Cherished great grandmother of Lily DiFabio, Sophie DiFabio, Ireland McKenna and Danny McKenna, all of Cranston. McLaughlin, Jr.; sister of Patricia Costa, and the late Arlene McGetrick, James McGetrick, Gerald McGetrick, Marjorie Young, Imelda McGetrick and Stephen McGetrick; mother-in-law of Suzanne McLaughlin; grandmother of Christine, Katie, Ryan, Denise and Brenna; great grandmother of Grace, Caroline, Paul and James; sister-in-law of Dr. John McLaughlin.
