Jordan, Arlene - Providence  
JORDAN, ARLENE ANN 73, was called home on Sunday September 18, 2016. She was born on December 31, 1942 in Providence RI, a daughter of the late, Chester Johnson & Mildred R. (Speaks) Johnson and the wife of the late James M. Jordan. Arlene worked at the Union Paper Co. for many years, her presence brought joy to everyone she encountered and we thank God for the fond memories we have of her. Arlene is survived by her 6 children Douglas & Glenda Johnson, Karen, Dennis, James and Antonio Jordan, 18 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 6 siblings and 7 late siblings as well as many other family and friends who will always love and miss her dearly. Arlene fought a good fight and finished her earthly course, there has been a crown of glory for her in heaven, R.I.P Arlene.

Keyes, James - Bristol  
KEYES, JAMES R., 94, died Saturday, September 17, 2016. He was the husband of the late Constance (Laliberte) Keyes. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late James A. and Agnes T. (Greene) Keyes. Jim served in World War II flying seventy-two combat missions over N. Africa and Europe as a Technical Sgt. tail gunner on B-26 Martin Marauders. After the war, he joined the United States Post Office, delivering mail in the Norwood area of Warwick until retirement. He was very artistic and enjoyed refinishing antique furniture. He also acted in the community theater. Jim leaves no blood relatives. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at 10:00 am in Christ the King Church, 120 Legris Avenue, West Warwick. LASORSA, BARBARA L. (IZZARD) 79, passed away unexpectedly on September 21, 2016. She was married to Guy Lasorsa for 59 loving years. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Bertha (Goucher) Izzard. Besides her husband she leaves behind her loving children, Michael Lasorsa, Thomas Lasorsa, Susan Marano, Guy E. Lasorsa, Richard Lasorsa, Patricia DiMascio, Elizabeth Lasorsa, also 13 adoring grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Anthony Church 1413 Mineral Spring Ave. North Providence on Saturday September 24, 2016 at 9:45 AM. Lieberman, Elaine - Providence  
LIEBERMAN, ELAINE FRANK 99, a teacher, developmental speech-language pathologist, daughter of Casper Frank and Ida (Makar), and wife of late Abbott Lieberman, passed away Friday September 23, 2016. She was the mother of Constance Bram and her husband Steve, James Lieberman and his wife Sherri, and Michael Lieberman and his wife Ilene; grandmother of Jeffry Bram and fiancée Faina, Neal Bram and his wife Kelly, Nancy Lieberman Barton and her husband Dan, Debra Lieberman, Rachel Lieberman and her husband Matthew VanderHoek, David Lieberman, and Melanie Lieberman; and great-grandmother of Matthew, Zachery and Noah Bram; Sarah and Ashley Barton; Ryan and Asher Bram; and Devon and Ezra Lieberman. Funeral Services will be held Sunday September 25th at 1PM at Sugarman-Sinai Memorial Chapel, 458 Hope St, Providence with burial in Lincoln Park Cemetery. Lord, Katharine - Providence  
LORD, KATHARINE VARRELL of York, Maine, died on Sunday, September 18, 2016, aged 93, at Sentry Hill. Kathy was born in Cambridge, MA on September 15, 1923, the daughter of the late Harry M. and Laura Johnson Varrell. She received her bachelor's degree from Smith College. In 1947, she married Dr. Robert M. Lord, Jr., and they lived most of their 51 years of married life in Providence, RI where they were members of the Agawam Hunt. Kathy volunteered at the Animal Rescue League and played bridge at the Bridge Club of Rhode Island and in tournaments in New England. Kathy and her husband spent summers in York Harbor, ME where her parents owned and operated the Yorkshire Inn. An avid tennis and bridge player, Mrs. Lord was a lifelong member of the York Harbor Reading Room and York Golf and Tennis. She and her husband were also members of the Agamenticus Yacht Club and enjoyed boating throughout the York Harbor area. Kathy loved the York Harbor Beach and the Sea Urchin. Survivors include a daughter, Frances Lord Niles; a son and daughter-in-law, William Aborn Lord and Judith Perry; and three grandchildren, Augusta, Sam and Toby Niles. Burial will be private. Lourenco, Francisco - Cranston  
LOURENCO, FRANCISCO A., 85, of Cranston, passed away peacefully at home on September 18, 2016, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Maria Emilia Lourenco for 62 years and the son of the late Joaquim and Ana Marta Lourenco. Born in Vale de Azares, Celorico da Beira, Portugal he moved to the United States in 1980 settling in Cranston. He was a member of the Cranston Portuguese Club and a parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary Church. He is survived by one brother Tito Lourenco and his wife Maria Ester of Cranston; and six predeceased siblings. He also leaves six children, Manuel Lourenco and his wife Olga Isabel, of Palm Coast, Florida, Jose Lourenco and his wife Maria Natalia, Carlos Lourenco and his wife Emilia, Isabel Nunes and her husband Jose Carlos, Maria Connie Silva and her husband Jose all of Cranston, and Luis Lourenco and his wife Christina of Lincoln. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. The Lourenco family would like to acknowledge the entire VNA Hospice for their compassion and care. His funeral will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at 10:15 from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 noon in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 463 Benefit Street, Providence. Burial will follow in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
