Albro, Howard - Warwick  
ALBRO, HOWARD I., JR. age 92, of Ives Road, Warwick, and formerly of Belfort Avenue, Warwick, died on Friday, May 20, 2016, at Kent County Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of the late Edyth A. (Harrison) Albro. Born in Providence, a son of the late Howard I. and Florence M. (Bradbury) Albro, he lived in Warwick since 1945. He served with the U.S. Marine Corps 4th Division in World War II. Mr. Albro was employed at Davol Rubber Co. for 42 years, retiring from its Cranston facility as a foreman in 1987. For the last ten years, he was a member of Gold's Gym in Warwick. During the 1950's, 60's and 70's, he was active as a volunteer in youth sports. He is survived by two daughters, Barbara A. Albro and Joan E. Bishop, both of Warwick; two sons, Steven T. Albro of Coventry and Kenneth H. Albro of Johnston; and five grandchildren, Kelly, Eric, Meagan, Ryan, and Kyle. He was the brother of the late Pauline H. Albro and Donald B. Albro. His funeral will be held on Wednesday, May 25, at 10 a.m. from the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick. Burial with military honors will follow in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. www.barrettandcotter.com

Ames, Stanley - Williamsburg  
AMES, STANLEY EDWARD 88, of Williamsburg, VA formerly of Greenville, RI died May 13, 2016. Stanley was born in Pittsfield, ME. He is predeceased by son, Jonathan. He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Dorothy (Homan) Ames and three sons, Stephen (Martha) of Midlothian, VA; Russell (Lily) of Newport News, VA; William (Karen) of Richmond, VA. Stanley is also survived by his loving grandchildren: Melanie, Russell, Meredith, David, Bryant, John and Thomas, great-grandchildren Lilianna and Matthew, and brother Robert of York, ME. Stanley served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy during World War II and retired after many years working for the U.S. Postal Service. Nothing pleased him more than to be with his loving family. A memorial celebrating his life will be held in North Kingstown, RI at a future date.

ANDERSON, EVERETT O. "ANDY" SR., 81, of Warwick, passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2016, surrounded by his wife and children. He was the beloved husband of Teresa Roy, who never left his side during his illness. Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving children, Laura Anderson of Warwick and Everett Anderson, Jr. and his wife Nancy of Reading, Massachusetts; He also leaves Teresa's son, Todd Lauer of North Carolina. Everett was the cherished grandfather of Rory Provencal, Casey, Troy, Jason and Brady Anderson, Brittni and Nikki Lauer. A Celebration of Life will take place on Monday, May 30 from 2pm to 5pm, at the E.G. Firemen's Hall, 80 Queen St., E. Greenwich, RI. All are invited to attend. ASADOORIAN, FELICIA "PHYLLIS" HOPE D'ELIA born in Providence, Rhode Island, passed away peacefully on May 19th 2016. She is the loving spouse of Suran Asadoorian of South Kingstown and the daughter of the late Carmella Granieri D'Elia and Guiseppe D'Elia. She is the beloved mother of her daughter Donna Marie Sormanti-Saglio and son-in-law Dean Saglio of South Kingstown and the loving devoted mother of her son the late Steven John Sormanti. She is grandmother (Nonna) of Deanna Felicia Johnson of Georgia and husband Alan, Dean Saglio Jr. and wife Shannon of Westerly, and Damian Sormanti of Cranston. Affectionately known as "Bonnie", she is great grandmother (Bisnonna) of Sean, Rachel, Jared, Alanna, Logan, Rowan, Ewan, Kevin, Kara and Karissa. Sister to Leo, Peter, Damian, Cosimo, Angela, and Mary, all deceased. She also leaves nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Step-mother to step-daughters Eileen Smith and husband George of N. Providence, Joan Di Orio and late husband Russell of Florida, Nancy Cotroneo and husband Stephen of N. Providence. Step-grandchildren George Smith Jr. and wife Jennifer, Kim Cariglio and late husband Matt, Michael Smith and wife Ana. Step-great grandchildren Kennedy, Karrington, Ella, Nicholas, Abby. Phyllis was a supervisor at Weingeroff Enterprises for 25 years before she retired. She was an avid reader, loved to bake and cook for her family and friends and in her younger years loved to entertain and give parties and travel. In her senior years she enjoyed going to the casino with her husband Suran. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, May 23, 2016 at 10:30 am, in the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, 179 Academy Avenue, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Ferruccio Benvenuti. Born in Trieste, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Mario and Rita (DeLise) Troian. Antonia is survived by her loving daughter Nevi Benvenuti of Cranston. She was the cherished grandmother of Justin Paliotta, Gianna Laurelli and her husband Robert, all of Cranston. Blanchette, Robert - Providence  
BLANCHETTE, ROBERT R. 78, died Thursday, May 19, 2016 at his home. He was the beloved husband of Muriel (Demeule) Blanchette for the past fifty eight years. Born in the Esmond section of North Providence, he was a son of the late Alcide and Eledia (Paquin) Blanchette. Robert was stricken with Multiple Schlerosis as a young man and sought refuge and the peace and love of our Lord Jesus in the Church of Saint Charles Borromeo where he was a communicant for many years. Besides his wife Muriel, he leaves a son, Mark Blanchette; three daughters, Mary Welch, Loreen Esser, and Elaine Letourneau; a brother Omer Blanchette; a sister, Claire Berube; twelve grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. The funeral will be held Monday, at 8:45 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Saint Charles Borromeo Church, 179 Dexter Street, Providence. Burial will be private. Visiting hours Sunday, 2:00 4:00 pm. Boschetti, Anna - North Providence  
BOSCHETTI, ANNA D. (DIRUZZO), 82, of North Providence, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 22, 2016. She was the beloved wife of Louis A. Boschetti. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Arduino and Adelina (Paris) DiRuzzo. Anna enjoyed being a stay at home mom. When her children were grown, she pursued courses to further her education and held various office positions. Upon retiring, she again assumed the role of caretaker for her two granddaughters which brought her much joy. Besides her husband, she is survived by her loving daughter, Barbara A. Boschetti-Michael and her husband Joseph Michael; a loving son, Louis M. Boschetti and his wife Elsa and cherished grandchildren, Elisa, Julia and Joseph. She was the sister of Anthony, Ronald and Robert DiRuzzo and the late Rico DiRuzzo, Ida Schanze and Gina Aurelio. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday (MORNING) May 25th from 8:00 am to 9:30 am at the MACERONI Funeral Home 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am at Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Fourth St., North Providence.
