Judith Carcieri Obituary

CARCIERI, JUDITH A. 67, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 8, 2013 at RI Hospital in Providence. She was born in Providence, a daughter of the late William and Elvira (Carcieri) Carcieri. Judith was an Executive Secretary for ITT Grinnell for 17 years; and was employed as the Executive Secretary for the President of Textron Financial for 15 years until her retirement. Following her retirement, she enjoyed her on-call administrative assistant position at Edward Jones. Judy enjoyed her time spent in Newport and Chatham. She was an avid shopper; and especially looked forward to those times spent with her sister. She is survived by her loving sister, Linda C. Carcieri of Cranston. Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Mary's Church, Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Wednesday 4-7 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to: St. Jude Tribute Program, P.O. Linda, this was a tough day and although there will be many tough days yet to come please find comfort in knowing that you were the best sister ...loving, caring and helping her through each day with grace and respect. It was hard at times I know but your love for Judy always came through. Today was a beautiful tribute to her life. The readings, the music the flowers...everything was perfect. I am sadden and shocked to read of Judy's passing. I worked with Judy for many years at Textron Financial and will always remember the laughs we shared. She was a very special caring lady with a love for life. Words can not express the sadness I feel today. This world has lost a wonderful most caring and special person. She was a great friend, daughter and sister.
