Dear Marianne and family, We were deeply saddened when Jeri told us of Maureen's sudden passing. Our fond recollection is meeting her at your home, when you hosted Barrett's graduation party from Brown Univ. At that time we felt as if we had always known her. That warm welcome and personality! You are all in our thoughts and prayers. In Sympathy, Sue Levesque Leslie and family

To the entire Prior Family,
We just heard about your mom's passing yesterday. We were so shocked and so sad.
As you know, your mom was not only beautiful on the outside, but beautiful on the inside. That beauty and love shines through each of you every day.
May the love and support of your many friends and family help you through this difficult time.

I have just learned of the unexpected death of my beautiful, wonderful cousin, Maureen, with whom I grew up in St. Pius parish, having lived one block away from her and my Uncle Jack, Aunt Chris, Anne, Jackie and Jimmy. They were very happy days, and in addition to the great memories of those days, and the fact that I, like everyone else in our family, never had a moment's trouble with Maureen (even when she was babysitting my brother and me), I am enriched by the memory of my last visit to Rhode Island, when she, without having to do so and on a moment's notice, invited me to her lovely home in Bonnet Shores for a first-class meal and the viewing afterward of hundreds of photos, many of which I had never seen, of our family during those unforgettable years, going back to my father“s time in the US Navy during WWII and his visits to his home away from home, 114 Radcliffe Ave. This unexpected trip down memory lane remains very vivid in my mind, and I will always treasure it and never forget her hospitality on Labor Day, 2008.
She was a warm, lovely person, like a sister to my brother, Steve, and me, and I am blessed to have been her first cousin. Her greatest accomplishment was her family, and my sincerest condolences, as well as my heart, go out to her beautiful children - Chrissie, Debbie and Colleen, young Gerry and Danny - on their sudden, shocking loss. The weight of their bereavement must be unbearable at this time; my sentiments are the same in the case of Jimmy, especially after the sudden loss of Jackie in April.
May she Rest in Peace and may Perpetual Light, the same light that she brought into the lives of so many people, shine upon her.

Dear Priors,
I was so saddened to hear about your Mom/Grandmoe's passing. She was a great friend to my Gram (Mary Garvey). I have so many memories of Maureen from growing up. She used to come over on Saturday evenings when she still lived on Tyndall for cocktails and always brought pizza strips. I used to love hearing them tell stories with many off color jokes and all the gossip. She had a great sense of humor and an infectious laugh. Maureen always bought me a bathing suit for all my birthdays and would invite us down to the beach at Bonnet every Summer. Some of my earliest memories of going to the beach were with her.
She was a great lady and will be missed by many.

Dear Prior Nation,
Your Mom/Grandmoe taught me how to make stuffies and red chowda. She was a gem who raised 5 great kids into terrific adults. She taught that each family is unique and bound forever by laughter, tears, and the sense of who they are together and as individuals. Jeri (Mar's Sister) & George

I was shocked and saddended to hear about your mom's sudden passing. She was such a fun person who always had a bright smile on her face! I always enjoyed running into her around town because she always had something funny to say to brighten the day.
The loss of your Mom who you love dearly is surely heartbreaking but may all of the wonderful memories of fun times, laughs, walks at the beach and countless others warm your hearts and bring you peace.
Fondly,
