RALPH CAMPAGNONE Obituary
Ralph worked as Human Resource Director for the Providence School Department and served in many capacities for the School Department, including Principal of Mt. Pleasant, Central and Hope High Schools as well as Principal of Esek Hopkins Middle School. He was a 1959 graduate of Providence College, receiving his Master of Education Degree from PC in 1966. He was a member of the Italo American Club since 1975 and was a past president. He was also on the Mt. Pleasant High School Reunion Committee Board and was Chairman of the Atlantic City Travel Association. A historian of WWII, he served his country in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was an avid Yankees fan.
He leaves three sons, Thomas Campagnone, Joseph Campagnone and Michael Campagnone and his wife, Tonya; three grandchildren, Domenico Campagnone, Angelo Campagnone and Thomas Smith and a great grandson, Dylan Smith.
His funeral will be held Monday at 10 a.m, from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. VISITATION Sunday 4-8 p.m. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Donations in his memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital Tribute Program, P.O. To The Campagnone Family,
Ralph and I first met in 1960 when I was a student in his history class at MP. We then worked together at MP and Central. He was a metor to me and we eventually received a Master's together at PC. He was a wonderful person who touched many. I will miss him, and I know your family will find it difficult as well.

I like to express my condolences to the Campagnone family. I met Ralph in 1981 at Central High School. He was the Dean of Students and I was a long term substitute in guidance. Ralph took the time to teach me how to do the job the right way. I guess that is why I am a counselor today.

Ralph,
I met you while i was a student at Mt Pleasant High School back in 1982. You were always a fair person then as you were now. Im gonna miss seeing you at the car wash while you were doing your usual duties there. I was also very happy to have you as a very good customer of mine, and hope if Michael needs any help in the future he knows he can count on me to help him . Rest in Peace Ralph Im going to miss you.
