James DeCubellis

DeCUBELLIS, A. JAMES "JIM", 71, of Castle Rock Drive, died Thursday March 10, 2011 at Rhode Island Hospital. Born in South Kingstown, he was the son of the late Antonio J. Sr. and Anna (Perry) DeCubellis. Jim worked as a civil engineer for Ray Schwab for ten years, the Town of Narragansett for eleven years, LeBlanc Builders for ten years, Commonwealth Engineers for two years and was a self employed contractor for several years. He was also a constable for the Narragansett Police Department and was a member of Gold Wing Road Riders Association, Blue Knights RI Chapter 1 and St. James Chapel, Charlestown. He was the longtime companion of Carol A. Meenan DeCubellis; brother of John E. DeCubellis Sr. of South Kingstown, Anthony G. DeCubellis in PA, Barbara Janson of Morristown, PA, Vicki Uthus of Morita, VA, Phyllis Hinners in FL, Katherine Young of Bristol, CT, Maria Brown of Morristown, TN, Rosemary Northup of Peace Dale, and Rosanne Lyskawa of Wakefield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wedneday at 10:00 AM in St. James Chapel, 2079 Matunuck Schoolhouse Rd., Charlestown. Visiting hours Tuesday 6-8 PM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield.
