George Dohring Obituary

DOHRING, GEORGE W. 73, of Quinn Lane died Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late M. Jean (MacQueen) Dohring. Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late Gordon and Florence (Ashton) Dohring, he had lived in Cumberland for 48 years before moving to Lincoln 4 years ago. Mr. Dohring was a mechanic for Laidlaw Transportation and later for Dupuis Oil Company, Pawtucket for 10 years retiring in 2001. He was a member of Four Corners Community Chapel, Cumberland. He is survived by two daughters, Nancy Lord and her husband, Philip of Lincoln and Cheryl Simanski and her husband, Stanley of Cumberland; one son, Richard Dohring and his wife, Cheryl of Cumberland; seven grandchildren; and one great grandson. His funeral will be held SATURDAY, MAY 26 at 10 A.M. at BELLOWS-FALSO FUNERAL CHAPEL, 160 River Road, Lincoln. Burial will be in Moshassuck Cemetery, Central Falls. Relatives and friends are invited and may call FRIDAY 4-8 P.M. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mr. Dohring's memory to Odyssey Hospice, 2374 Post Road #206, Warwick, RI 02886 would be appreciated.
