With sorrow, I send this to Marilyn, and
your children and family.
Mr Lamarre was my shop teacher at Slater Jr High, not only was he a shop teacher he was one you could turn to at any time.
The last time I got to see him was when I cam back from Viet Nam my first
time. in 1968.
He will be missed by all and I want all of you to look up in the sky you will see a rainbow, follow it to the end and you will see your Husband father and grandfather there with a beautiful smile for all of you.
MAY PEACE BE WITH ALL OF YOU AT THIS TIME.

It was an honor to have taught with Al at Slater. Can not begin to explain all he taught me as a young teacher. Definitely one of the most caring men I know. He will be missed.

Mr Lamarre was my shop teacher 1963 at Slater Jr High, and also my favorite teacher. He was fair with all but would not take an ounce of nonsense especially around the power tools.
Always remember him well.

Al was a kind hearted, gentle man who helped everyone he could. He was a god send to my grandmother and so many of his neighbors. Another angel has left us but will never be forgotten.
