Lynton Sharp Obituary

SHARP, LYNTON B., 81, died February 21, 2012 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. He was the husband of the late Geraldine A. (Creighton) Sharp. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Joseph and Henrietta (Wolfendale) Sharp. Lynton was a machinist for Davol Rubber before retiring, previously working for Brown & Sharpe. He was a Marine Corps veteran. He leaves four children, Deborah Peck and her husband Bill, Dona Sharp, Sherry Peter and her husband Ron, and Joseph Sharp (Alamprese), five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. He was the brother of the late Hazel Ellsworth. His funeral service will be held Friday at 10 am in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Burial to follow in Highland Memorial Park. Calling hours Thursday 4-7 pm.
