HALLAL, A. ANNE (CHELTRA)
97, of East Greenwich, formerly of Warwick, died September 2, 2018 at the St. Elizabeth Home. She was the beloved wife of the late Fred G. Hallal.
Born in Pawtucket, she was one of nine children of the late Joseph S. and Lena (Mayer) Cheltra.
Anne was an Interior Decorator. Anne, along with her late husband Fred, owned the former Hallal's Interior Decorating in Pawtucket until retiring in 1983. She was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church and a member of the Shalom Tennant's Association.
Anne is survived by her loving children: Maureen Maigret of Warwick, Donna Fierlit of North Haven, CT and Earline Hartzell of Pawtucket; a sister: Claire Gariepy of Attleboro; seven grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
She was the mother of the late Karen Ksen.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 11 AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 596 Jefferson Blvd., Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick on Saturday from 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM. Burial will take place at a later date in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. www.murphyfuneralhomes.org.
