To the family of my friend Marty Sherlock, I'm so very sorry to hear of your mothers passing. Your mom lived very close to my parents in Warwick. Every day she would walk by their house and say hello. She was such a wonderful lady. She will be sadly missed.

We were in an exercise class together on Tuesdays at the Sr. center. She didn't like a particular exercise, so she would "slip" out when we were about to start it. We would all laugh because the instructor would give us a different exercise till she got back! We would all laugh, so did she. She was a good sport.

To the family of Ann Devine Sherlock:
My deepest and heartfelt sympathy. I graduated with Ann from SXA in 1949 and have seen her at some of the class reunions, the last being our 50th in 1999. It seems like only yesterday, but alas so many years have passed by and they are fleeting. The picture used in the obituary was so your mom. I can remember her on campus with that same warm smile. We at SXA were always very close to one another, a sisterhood, if you will. Much of that is a credit to the dear sisters who taught us. So I feel your loss also. May God take her swiftly to Heaven and give you the strength to go on in faith. God bless.
