I am a former partner of E & A and EAPD and worked with Scott. I was in the trusts & estates group in Florida and Scott and I worked together on several occasions when I needed general tax advice for a client. Scott was always friendly, helpful and technically excellent. I enjoyed seeing him at partner retreats as well. I am very sorry for your loss; Scott was a very good person (and a good attorney) and I know everyone will miss him. My prayers are with all of you, his family.

I am so sorry to hear of Scott's passing. I worked with him for several years on a case involving both the RI and West Palm Beach offices of Edwards & Angell and recall fondly your family hosting my sister and me for dinner in your lovely home when I was visiting her in Newport one summer. I have on several occasions since that time remarked to friends and family about your wonderfuly family and hospitality. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Cyndi & Family,

I worked for Scott at E & A in the early 90's and I must say he was extremely nice to work for. I am in such shock to hear of his passing. He would go for a swim every day on his lunch break. He was very kind and loved to talk about his children. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I remember as if it were yesterday working with Scott at Edwards & Angell in the mid 1980's. He was just starting out as an Associate and working very long hours, and I was a Legal Secretary often working overtime. I recall fondly when he announced that his wife was expecting triplets and then the blessed arrival of the babies. My heartfelt sympathies to Mrs. Nebergall and her children. May he rest in peace.
